PALADIN

Solo & Group Templar HYBRID PVE Build

by Hack The Minotaur

The PALADIN Build is a Unique HYBRID Templar build for The Elder Scrolls Online, mixing powerful Two Handed Weapon abilities with the Templar’s Magic Damage skills and insane self-healing. Bring the power of the Light to battle!

Primary Sets

For this build, our sets will be focused on providing good overall damage stats as well as some basic survivability (damage shields) that make this build especially good for Solo content in The Elder Scrolls Online.

First, we’ll be making use of Deadly Strike - a fantastic Templar set that buffs all of our damage over time skills and our main spammable DPS skill by 15 percent!

Next, we will be using the Scathing Mage Set to provide lots of on demand Spell Damage with a near 100% uptime on the proc.

Mother Ciannait is an amazing monster set for Solo builds in ESO that want a bit extra magicka sustain. This helps greatly with this build’s hybrid approach.

Finally, a back bar Arena weapon such as the Maelstrom Two Hander can add some nice bonus damage.

Companions

If you like playing Solo, this build can benefit greatly from using Companions! This Solo build for the Templar is both fairly tanky and also GREAT at self healing, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a Ranged Damage approach for them. I recommend Mirri Elendis for Companion on this build with the set up below. More information on Companions Builds and Skills can be found in our detailed Companion Guides section.

Recommended Gear

  • All Medium Armor - Aggressive Trait

  • Companion Bow
