by Hack The Minotaur

The PALADIN Build is a Unique HYBRID Solo build for The Elder Scrolls Online, mixing Two Handed and Bow skills with the Templar’s Light-based class magic skills for a powerful and fun thematic experience. Bring the power of the Light to battle!

Primary Sets

Hybrid builds in The Elder Scrolls Online require MUCH more in the way of stats which is why this build will focus on stat heavy sets.

First, we’ll be making use of New Moon Acolyte - a great all around Hybrid and Damage focused set.

Next, we the Twice-Born Star set gives us access an extra Mundus stone bonus which will be great for solo content.

Grundwulf is a great option as a Hybrid Monster set as it buffs your overall Critical Chance as well as improves your resource sustain for both Stamina and Magicka.

Finally, the Maelstrom bow will a nice backbar option for increasing the damage of this build.

Start with Backbar DOTs: Endless Hail, Vampire’s Bane -> Bar Swap

Brawler, Puncturing Sweeps x 5 -> Bar Swap back

Notes

Remember to light attack between every ability. Substitute Radiant Glory or Reverse Slice in place of Puncturing Sweep when an enemy is within execute range.

Companions

This Solo Build can benefit greatly from using Companions which are releasing with the Blackwood Chapter in 2021. This Solo build for the Templar is both fairly tanky and also GREAT at self healing, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a Ranged Damage approach for them. I recommend Mirri Elendis for Companion on this build with the set up below.

Recommended Gear

  • All Medium Armor - Aggressive Trait

  • Companion Bow
