Stamina Warden Beginner Build

ESO Stamina Warden Beginner PVE Build

by Hack The Minotaur

This beginner build for the Stamina Warden class in The Elder Scrolls Online is a great place to get started. This build focuses on Bow Skills and Animal Companions for a very fun play style and will serve you well all the way from level 1 to level 50 and possibly beyond.

More details including gameplay of the Stamina Warden Beginner Build can be found in the video below.

Primary Sets

Armor Of The Trainee provides great bonuses to stamina, magicka and health. Even though this is a stamina-focused build, the Warden class has many magicka based buffs so Trainee will help with sustaining all of those, plus the extra health is always good when starting out, especially if you plan to play solo.

Shadow Of The Red Mountain is a great damage oriented set, but remember, this only procs the 5 piece bonus on weapon attacks, so keep those bow abilities firing as much as possible! Since Trainee potentially drops in light, medium or heavy, try to get at least 5 pieces of medium armor total (both sets count towards this) to unlock the ideal medium armor passives.

Armor Of The Trainee

Set bonus
(1 item) Adds 1454 Maximum Health
(2 items) Adds 1454 Maximum Magicka
(3 items) Adds 1454 Maximum Stamina

Shadow Of The Red Mountain

Set bonus
(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) Adds 657 Weapon Critical
(5 items) When you deal damage with a weapon, you have a 10% chance to spawn a volcano that erupts after 1 second, launching liquid hot lava at the closest enemy dealing 8400 Flame Damage. This effect can occur once every 2 seconds.

Alternative Sets

For alternatives I also recommend Spriggan’s Thorns and Venomous Smite. Remember that your armor pieces can go into any gear slot, meaning you only need to use 10 slots total for this build. I recommend using the Level Up Rewards weapons (Prophet’s Bow) to make up the remaining 2 open gear slots.

Spriggan’s Thorns

Set bonus

(2 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5 items) Adds 3460 Physical Penetration

Venomous Smite

Set bonus

(2 items) Adds 657 Weapon Critical
(3 items) Adds 657 Weapon Critical
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5 items) Dealing Critical Damage inflicts Hunter's Venom on your enemy for 10 seconds, dealing 2241 Poison Damage to your target and enemies within 6 meters of them every 1 second. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Consumables, Race, Mundus

I prefer Wood Elf for this build thanks to the extra stamina and recovery. Redguard can also be a very good option thanks to the reduced cost of weapon abilities (great for bow builds) and extra stamina sustain.
