Stamina Necromancer Solo PVE One Bar Build

by Hack The Minotaur

The BLOODTHIRST Build is my take on a DOT (Damage Over Time) focused Stamina Necro set up for PVE. This build can be run as a simple One-Bar build, or you can use the two full skill bars for greater damage and survivability.

Primary Sets

Deadly Strike provides our main damage bonus for this build, boosting all DOT and Channelled abilities by 20%.

Briarheart is also a nice solo set as it applies extra weapon damage and healing, which is important, especially if you want to use this as a ONEBAR Build.

Thorvkun is a nice thematic set - the extra “oozing” bile fits perfectly with the necromancer, plus it applies Minor Maim to all enemies nearby which is a useful solo debuff. All three sets have great effectiveness and synergy when used together.

Deadly Strike

Set bonus
(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(3 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5 items) Increase the damage your Physical, Bleed, Poison, and Disease Damage over time and channeled abilities do by 20%.

Briarheart

Set bonus
(2 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
(3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you have a 25% chance to increase your Weapon Damage by 450 for 10 seconds. While this effect is active your Critical Strikes heal you for 378 Health. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Thurvokun

Set bonus
(1 item) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(2 items) When you take damage from a nearby enemy, you summon a growing pool of desecrated bile for 8 seconds. Enemies in the bile take 100 Disease Damage every 1 second and are afflicted with Minor Maim and the Diseased status for 4 seconds, reducing their damage done by 5% and healing received and Health Recovery by 8%. This effect can occur every 16 seconds.

Alternative Sets

The most important set is Deadly Strike, so I would recommend picking this up when you can. It can also be bought in Guild Traders. Briarheart can be replaced with a generic damage set such as Hundings Rage or New Moon Acolyte. Thorvukun can be replaced with more generic defensive sets like Iceheart, Bloodspawn.

New Moon Acolyte

Set bonus

(2 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical, Adds 833 Spell Critical
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 1487 Physical Penetration, Adds 1487 Spell Penetration
(5 items) Adds 401 Weapon Damage and Spell Damage. Increases the cost of your active abilities by 5%.

Iceheart

Set bonus

(1 item) Adds 833 Spell Critical
(2 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you have a 20% chance to gain a damage shield that absorbs 5000 damage for 6 seconds. While the damage shield holds, you deal 500 Frost Damage to all enemies within 5 meters of you every 1 second. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds.

Bloodspawn

Set bonus

(1 item) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(2 items) When you take damage, you have a 6% chance to generate 13 Ultimate and increase your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 3731 for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds.

Consumables, Race, Mundus

Race

I tried many different race options for this build, and all are good. Your best race may depend on your playstyle. Here are my top picks:

  • Redguard: extra stamina sustain is great, especially if using the One Bar set up

  • Orc: Extra weapon damage and health

  • Nord: Extra Ult generation and armor

  • Dark Elf: Extra weapon/spell damage, plus extra magicka pool for casting spells

Mundus

The Lover - more penetration is great while running a solo build

Food/Drink Buff

Bewitched Sugar Skulls

Potions

Weapon Power Potions (Major Brutality and Savagery)

Skills Discussion & Rotation

One Bar Rotation

Buff with Spirit Guardian and a Weapon Power potion. Begin with casting Blighted Blastbones to create a corpse, followed with Blood Craze and Bloodthirst. Cast Siphon, then Blastbones and two more Bloodthirsts. Repeat:

Blastbones -> Bloodcraze -> Bloodthirst -> Blastbones -> Bloodthirst -> Bloodthirst… and so on.

Recast Siphon and Spirit Guardian when they expire.

Two Bar Rotation

Begin with buffs on the back bar, then Trap Beast, Endless Hail, Bar Swap->Consuming Trap. Then follow the front bar rotation above.
