Stamina Necromancer Solo PVE One Bar Build

by Hack The Minotaur

The BLOODTHIRST Build is my take on a DOT (Damage Over Time) focused Stamina Necro set up for PVE. This build can be run as a simple One-Bar build, or you can use the two full skill bars for greater damage and survivability.

Primary Sets

Deadly Strike provides our main damage bonus for this build, boosting all DOT and Channelled abilities by 20%.

Briarheart is also a nice solo set as it applies extra weapon damage and healing, which is important, especially if you want to use this as a ONEBAR Build.

Thorvkun is a nice thematic set - the extra “oozing” bile fits perfectly with the necromancer, plus it applies Minor Maim to all enemies nearby which is a useful solo debuff. All three sets have great effectiveness and synergy when used together.

7 Important Tips For Soloing Dungeo...
Deadly Strike

Set bonus
(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(3 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(5 items) Increase the damage your Damage over time and channeled abilities do by 15%.

Set bonus
(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(4 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(5 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you have a 25% chance to increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 450 for 10 seconds. While this effect is active your Critical Strikes heal you for 378 Health. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Set bonus
(1 item) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(2 items) When you take damage from a nearby enemy, you summon a growing pool of desecrated bile for 8 seconds. Enemies in the bile take 100 Disease Damage every 1 second and are afflicted with Minor Maim and the Diseased status for 4 seconds, reducing their damage done by 5% and healing received and Health Recovery by 8%. This effect can occur every 16 seconds.

Alternative Sets

The most important set is Deadly Strike, so I would recommend picking this up when you can. It can also be bought in Guild Traders. Briarheart can be replaced with a generic damage set such as Hundings Rage or New Moon Acolyte. Thorvukun can be replaced with more generic defensive sets like Iceheart, Bloodspawn.

New Moon Acolyte

Set bonus

(2 items) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(3 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
(5 items) Adds 401 Weapon and Spell Damage. Increases the cost of your active abilities by 5%.

Set bonus

(1 item) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(2 items) When you deal Critical Damage, you have a 20% chance to gain a damage shield that absorbs 5000 damage for 6 seconds. While the damage shield holds, you deal 500 Frost Damage to all enemies within 5 meters of you every 1 second. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds.

Set bonus

(1 item) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(2 items) When you take damage, you have a 6% chance to generate 13 Ultimate and increase your Physical Resistance and Spell Resistance by 3731 for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds.

Consumables, Race, Mundus

I tried many different race options for this build, and all are good. Your best race may depend on your playstyle. Here are my top picks:

  • Redguard: extra stamina sustain is great, especially if using the One Bar set up

  • Orc: Extra weapon damage and health

  • Nord: Extra Ult generation and armor

  • Dark Elf: Extra weapon/spell damage, plus extra magicka pool for casting spells

This Solo build will benefit the most from the additional healing and defensive options a tank focused Companion can offer, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a full tank build for them. I recommend Bastian Hallix for Companion on this build with the set up below. More information on Companions Builds and Skills can be found in our detailed Companion Guides section.
