MAULER
Stamina Dragonknight Solo PVE One Bar Build
The MAULER Build is an absolute BEAST! As a Stamina DK, we have many hard hitting abilities, as well as natural buffs to our HEAVY ATTACK damage. So if you want a heavy-hitting, tough as nails warrior type character, look no further! This guide contains details for a ONE BAR and TWO BAR version of the build.
Primary Sets
The main sets on the Mauler Build revolve around buffing your Heavy Attack damage as much as possible. The Stamina Dragonknight is actually a great option for a Heavy Attack build due to our class skill Molten Armaments which provides even more bonus Heavy Attack damage!
Our first Heavy Attack set for this build is Sergeant’s Mail. This set is obtained in Wayrest Sewers and provides extra damage to our heavy attacks as well as some bonus Weapon Damage, Health and Health Recovery.
We combine this with Storm Master for even more heavy attack damage and weapon critical.
Stone Husk helps to increase our overall damage even further through additional proc damage and weapon damage at the same time! Plus it looks nasty!
Finally, this build can make use of the Crushing Wall set (Maelstrom Arena Destruction Staff) for even more Heavy Attack damage.
Sergeant’s Mail

(2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
(3 items) Adds 129 Health Recovery

Stone Husk

(2 items) Your Heavy Attacks tether you to enemies within 10 meters for 5 seconds, as long as you remain within 12 meters. Enemies touching the tether take 998 Physical Damage every 1 second and you gain a stack of Husk Drain, up to 15 stacks. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds and scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage. When the tether ends, you consume the stacks and gain 30 Weapon and Spell Damage per stack for 5 seconds.
Crushing Wall
Set bonus
(2 items) Your Light and Heavy Attacks deal an additional 1353 damage to enemies in your Wall of Elements.
Alternative Sets
Storm Master can be replaced with other general damage sets like New Moon Acolyte, Hunding’s Rage, or Briarheart. For the monster set, I also recommend Bloodspawn for a nice defensive option.

Companions
If you like playing Solo, this build can benefit greatly from using Companions! This Solo build will benefit the most from the additional healing and buff options a healer focused Companion can offer, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a full healer build for them. I recommend Mirri Elendis for Companion on this build with the set up below. More information on Companions Builds and Skills can be found in our detailed Companion Guides section.
