The SHOCK SCION is the ULTIMATE Magicka Sorcerer Build for The Elder Scrolls Online with a special focus on Vampire abilities. With the Sorcerer’s impressive healing skills, the health cost of being a Vampire is easily negated making for a Powerful Damage Dealer!
Primary Sets
Overwhelming Surge on this build offers a great mix of both damage and magicka sustain, helping to deal with the increased cost of abilities on this Vampire set up.
New Moon Acolyte is another great damage set that gives us a ton of stats, while only increasing the cost of a few active abilities on our front bar.
Finally, Ilambris is another great damage source that easily procs from our many sources of shock and fire damage.

(5 items) When you deal damage with a Class ability, you have a 33% chance to surround yourself with a torrent that deals 1040 Shock Damage to enemies within 8 meters of you every 1 second for 6 seconds. 15% of the damage you deal this way is restored to you as Magicka. This effect can occur every 6 seconds.

(2 items) When you deal Flame or Shock Damage, you have a 33% chance to summon a meteor shower of that damage type that deals 2015 Damage to all enemies within 4 meters every 1 second for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 8 seconds.
Alternative Sets
You can run other damage focused sets as alternatives, including Law Of Julianos or Mother’s Sorrow. If you’d like a more defensive oriented set you can use the Iceheart monster set.

Race
High Elf is a strong choice for this build due to the increased spell damage, max magicka and stamina sustain (Spell Recharge). Notes
Replace Arterial Burst with Crystal Fragments when it procs. Make sure to light attack weave on the front bar.
Companions
If you like playing Solo, this build can benefit greatly from using Companions! This Solo build will benefit the most from the additional healing and defensive options a tank focused Companion can offer, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a full tank build for them.
