FIRE GOD
Magicka Dragonknight Solo PVE One Bar Build
The FIRE GOD Build is a unique take on the Magicka Dragonknight, combining massive single target and AOE DoT Damage potential with strong defensive heals and buffs. This build is literally unkillable in many circumstances, with minimal button presses. This guide will cover both the ONE BAR and TWO BAR versions of the build.
Primary Sets
Our main damage set on this build is Deadly Strike, which now buffs Spell Damage and Spell Critical in addition to its previous Weapon Damage and Weapon Critical Buffs. Deadly Strike now buffs ALL Damage Over Time abilities by 15%, making it perfect for the Magicka Dragonknight because we have so many abilities that fall into this category including: Engulfing Flames, Burning Embers, Eruption and the Dragonknight Standard ultimate.
Another very powerful offensive set for this build will be Mother’s Sorrow which gives us a much greater chance of dealing Critical Damage to our enemies.
Finally, a great monster set for this build is Grothdar, as it gives us extra max magicka and another fire-based damage proc.

Alternative Sets
Elf Bane is still a solid set to run on this build as it will extend the duration of all our Damage Over Time skills by an extra 5 seconds. You could also use a set such as Light Of Cyrodiil for even more damage reduction. Zaan can be used for very strong single target monster set instead of Grothdar, while Valkyn Skoria is also a nice choice thanks to all the DOT damage present on this build.

Race
The optimal race for this build is High Elf due to the extra damage and damage reduction while channeling. Dark Elf and Breton are decent choices as well. Nord is an interesting choice too as they provide extra damage reduction and ultimate regen. For more details on all ESO Races and passive bonuses be sure to check out our Full ESO Race Guide.

Companions
If you like playing Solo, this build can benefit greatly from using Companions! This Solo build for the Templar is both fairly tanky and also GREAT at self healing, so if you are going to use a Companion I would suggest a Ranged Damage approach for them. I recommend Mirri Elendis for Companion on this build with the set up below. More information on Companions Builds and Skills can be found in our detailed Companion Guides section.
