Magicka Dragonknight Solo PVE One Bar Build
The FIRE GOD Build is a unique take on the Magicka Dragonknight, combining massive single target and AOE DoT Damage potential with strong defensive heals and buffs. This build is literally unkillable in many circumstances, with minimal button presses. This guide will cover both the ONE BAR and TWO BAR versions of the build.
Our main damage set on this build is Elf Bane, which adds an extra 5 second duration to our flame-based damage over time skills. This set is perfect for the Magicka Dragonknight because we have so many abilities that fall into this category, including: Engulfing Flames, Burning Embers, Eruption and the Dragonknight Standard ultimate. The fact that this extends the duration of most of our damaging abilities makes for a very simple and easy rotation.
For our defensive set we are using Light Of Cyrodiil which reduces our damage taken by 15% while channeling. The “channel” we are using to proc this is the Psijic Order ability Meditate (for the one bar set up) or just a simple lightning staff heavy attack on the two bar build.
Finally, a great monster set for this build is Grothdar, as it gives us extra max magicka and the proc is also extended to 10 (!) seconds thanks to Elf Bane, essentially giving the proc no cooldown, which is amazing!

(5 items) Increases the duration of your Flame Damage over Time abilities by 5 seconds.

(5 items) While you are casting or channeling an ability, your damage taken is reduced by 15%. When you are interrupted, your next Magicka Ability will cost no Magicka.

(2 items) When you deal damage, you have a 10% chance to create lava pools that swirl around you, dealing 1800 Flame Damage to all enemies within 8 meters of you every 1 second for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.
I would strongly recommend Elf Bane for this build, but Light Of Cyrodiil can be replaced with more general offensive sets. For example, Mother’s Sorrow or New Moon Acolyte will increase your damage substantially. Zaan can be used for very strong single target monster set instead of Grothdar, while Valkyn Skoria is also a nice choice thanks to all the DOT damage present on this build.

(2 items) When you damage a nearby enemy with a Light or Heavy Attack, you have a 33% chance to create a beam of fire that will connect you to your enemy. The beam deals 2010 Flame Damage every 1 second to your enemy for 6 seconds. Every second, this damage increases by 100%. The beam is broken if the enemy moves 8 meters away from you. This effect can occur every 18 seconds.

(2 items) When you deal damage with a damage over time effect, you have a 8% chance to summon a meteor that deals 9000 Flame Damage to the target and 3535 Flame Damage to all other enemies within 5 meters. This effect can occur once every 5 seconds.

The optimal race for this build is High Elf due to the extra damage and damage reduction while channeling. Dark Elf and Breton are decent choices as well. Nord is an interesting choice too as they provide extra damage reduction and ultimate regen.

One Bar Rotation
Buff with your Potion, then cast all of your offensive abilities: Blockade Of Fire, Engulfing Flames, Eruption, Burning Embers,
then cast and hold Introspection.
Break Introspection to recast your DOTS once they fall off. Cast Standard Of Might as needed.
Two Bar Rotation
Buff with your potion, then cast Molten Armaments and Volatile Armor. Then cast Elemental Susceptibility and Blockade Of Fire-> Barswap
On the Frontbar, cast Scalding Rune, Engulfing Flames, Eruption, Burning Embers, then Heavy Attack x 2 -> Barswap
Use Cauterize as needed for heals. Recast buffs and Ultimate when needed.
